Job Description

  • Manage team responsible for executing initiatives to maximize website traffic and search engine exposure.
  • Lead and participate in projects related to creation of content roadmap, site architecture, content publishing and sales/marketing initiatives, and researching, developing, analyzing and optimizing digital business opportunities.
  • Create best practices for content creation and publishing, organic search, search engine marketing and site analytics.
  • Create and maintain inventory forecasts for all ad products across the site.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years experience in managing high-growth web initiatives
  • Advanced degree strongly preferred (MBA, CIS, MIS)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience working on web based businesses, preferably in the area of online publishing
  • Working knowledge of website operation (revenue generation, content management systems, web analytics, performance optimization, etc)
  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience
  • Strong foundation in search engine optimization
  • Ability to create and present business plans around online opportunities
  • Familiarity with key industry tools (Omniture, Hitwise, comScore, etc)
  • Familiar with the process of driving targeted conversions
  • Proficient with Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel and Word
